Met Eireann has issued a status yellow wind warning for tonight.

The alert is in place for Connacht, Donegal, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick.

West to southwest winds are expected to gust 90 to 109 km/hr this evening and tonight.

The warning is in place until tomorrow morning at 6am.

Spring has obviously not sprung just yet…even with the clocks going forward.
