Witnesses sought after man shot in leg in Mulhuddart

A 35-year-old man is shot in the leg during an incident on Whitestown Drive.

GARDAÍ IN BLANCHARDSTOWN have appealed for information following a shooting incident in Mulhuddart last night in which a man was shot in the leg.

The 35-year-old man sustained the injury when a lone gunman fired a number of shots at Whitesdown Drive at around 10:30pm last night.

The man was later taken to hospital but has since been discharged. The scene of the incident remains sealed off pending a Garda examination.
