Witnesses sought to serious Sunday morning assault in Coolock

The 43-year-old man was assault while sitting in his car at the entrance to Belcamp College in the early hours of Sunday morning.

GARDAÍ IN COOLOCK have issued a public appeal for witnesses to a serious assault in the early hours of Sunday morning, which left a 43-year-old man in hospital.

The incident occurred at around 5:30am on Sunday morning, when the man was sitting in a car at the entrance to Belcamp College, just off the N32 at Coolock.

The man, who works for a security company, was taken by ambulance to Beaumont hospital where he is still being treated.

Witnesses to the assault can contact the Garda station at Coolock at (01) 666 4200, the Garda confidential line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
