Woman arrested in Meath cannabis raid

The woman in her 20s was arrested after Gardaí found an estimated €30,000 worth of cannabis at a house in Clonee.

A WOMAN IN her 20s has been arrested after Gardaí found around €30,000 worth of cannabis at a house in Meath following a search.

Gardaí from the Blanchardstown Drug Unit in west Dublin carried out the search of the house in Clonee yesterday evening as part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in Dublin.

The cannabis herb was found during the search. The exact value of the drug haul is subject to analysis but has an estimated street value of €30,000.

The woman was arrested at the scene and is being held at Blanchardstown Garda Station.
