Woman charged over 2014 fire in which two men died

The fire happened at Granary Court in Mallow.

A WOMAN IN her late 20s has been charged in connection with an investigation into a fatal fire in Co Cork in 2014.

Two men in their 30s died in the fire that occurred at an apartment at Granary Court in Mallow, County Cork on the 13 March of that year. Two other people, a man and a woman, were rescued from the scene.

The woman is due to appear before Mallow District Court at 10.30am today.

She was arrested yesterday and brought to Mallow garda station where she was charged. She remains in Garda custody.
