Tributes paid to Amanda Carroll as Garda investigation into her death continues

Carroll’s body was found by Dublin Fire Brigade this afternoon.

GARDAÍ ARE CONTINUING to question a man arrested in connection with the death of mother of two Amanda Carroll in Cabra, Dublin.

Carroll was discovered at an apartment in Homestead Court, Quarry Road at around 2.30pm yesterday by Dublin Fire Brigade, who then alerted the Gardaí.

A man in his mid 30s has been arrested in relation to this investigation and is currently detained at Mountjoy Garda Station under Section 4, Criminal Justice Act, 1984. He can be held for up to 24 hours.

The state pathologist’s office has begun a post-mortem examination today, with the results expected to determine the course of the Garda investigation in Carroll’s death.

Tributes have been paid to Carroll on social media, with people sending their condolences to her children and her extended family and friends.
