Woman dies after Dublin traffic collision

The woman, believed to be aged in her late 60s or early 70s, was pronounced dead at Beaumont Hospital.

A WOMAN HAS died this evening following a two-car collision on the Howth Road in Sutton shortly after 5.30pm.

It is believed the woman was aged in her late 60s or early 70s. She was on her own in the car and was pronounced dead at Beaumont Hospital.

The occupants of the second car were uninjured.

The road at the scene remains closed to facilitate an examination by Garda forensic collision investigators.
