Woman dies after incident involving car outside Co Wexford home

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact them.

A WOMAN HAS died following an incident involving a car in Co Wexford this morning. 

The women’s body was discovered outside a home in the Mill Park housing estate in Castlebridge. The incident is believed to have happened between 11.30am and midday. 

It’s understood the woman was discovered under a vehicle. Gardaí are yet to determine how she found herself under the vehicle but one theory being explored that it may have rolled over her. 

Her body remains at the scene this afternoon. 

Forensic collision investigators are attending and a section of the Mill Park estate is currently closed to traffic.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact them.

Any road users or pedestrians who were in the Mill Park area of Castlebridge between 11.30am and 12pm and who may have camera footage (including dash cam) are asked to make this available to investigating gardaí.
