Woman dies following single-car Tallaght road crash

A woman involved in a single-car crash in the early hours of Saturday morning dies from her injuries.

THE WOMAN involved in a single-car traffic accident in Tallaght in the early hours of Saturday morning has died in hospital from her injuries.

The woman (19), who has yet to be named, lost control of her car at the Cheeverstown junction of the N81 Dublin to Carlow road shortly after 1am.

She had crashed through a barrier and her car had landed in a ditch, leaving her gravely hurt.

She was brought to the intensive care unit at Tallaght Hospital, where she died today as a result of her injuries.
