Woman in her 20s dies after car hits wall in Dublin

The driver, a man in his 20s, and a female passenger in her late teens were taken to Beaumont Hospital.

A WOMAN HAS died in a single-vehicle collision in Dublin overnight.

The incident happened on Rush Road in Skerries at around 12.30am.

A woman in her 20s, a front seat passenger, was fatally injured when the car crashed into a wall.

The driver, a man in his 20s, and a female passenger in her late teens were taken to Beaumont Hospital.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses. Anyone who was in the area between midnight and 12.30am or who has information is asked to contact Balbriggan Garda Station on 01 8020510 or the garda confidential line on 1800 666 111.

A technical examination is being carried out and traffic diversions are in place.
