Woman (28) in critical condition after Drogheda incident

Gardaí have begun an investigation.

A WOMAN IS in critical condition in Beaumont Hospital this evening, having suffered what is understood to be serious head injuries.

The 28-year-old sustained the injuries in an incident that took place at Rathmullen Park in Drogheda on Friday evening.

Gardaí have been notified and have launched an investigation.

No other details of the incident have been released as of yet.

The scene is currently preserved for technical examination.
