19-year-old woman killed in Donegal crash

It happened at around 4:25 this morning.

A YOUNG WOMAN has died after a crash in Donegal.

The 19-year-old was a front seat passenger in a car that hit a ditch.

It happened at Dreenan, Ballybofey, Donegal at around 4.25am this morning.

The 19-year-old male driver suffered minor injuries. No one else was involved in the incident.

The road is closed to facilitate Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone who was travelling in the area who may have information about the incident to contact them.

They are being advised to call Ballybofey Garda Station on 074-9137740, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
