A WOMAN IN her early 70s has been killed after the car she was travelling in collided with a ditch.
The incident happened in Knockmore, Enniscorthy, Co Wexford at around 9.45am this morning.
The woman was the only occupant of the car and no others were injured.
The road is currently closed to allow for a Garda forensic collision examination to take place.
Gardaí are asking that anyone who witnessed the incident or who has an information relating to it to contact them at the Enniscorthy Garda Station on 053 9242580. They can also be reached on the Garda confidential line of 1800 666111.
