Woman in her 60s stabbed in Athy town centre

No arrests have been made.

A WOMAN WAS stabbed earlier this morning in Athy, Co Kildare.

It is understood the incident took place during the town’s weekly market at 11.45am.

Gardaí say the woman, aged in her 60s, received minor injuries in the attack, and has been to hospital.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation by gardaí is ongoing.
