Investigation launched to identify woman's body found in water in Clare

It’s understood that the body had been in the water for some time.

GARDAÍ HAVE LAUNCHED an investigation to identify a woman’s body recovered in Clare yesterday evening.

Kilkee Coastguard came across the body in the water near Labasheeda at around 5pm.

It’s understood that the body had been in the water for some time.

A post mortem examination is due to take place at University Hospital Limerick.
