Workers' dispute at ESB station

FORTY EMPLOYEES AT the Bord na Móna power station in Longford have been taking off the payroll today following a dispute over pay. The workers claim they are owed money to cover loss of earnings while the Lough Ree power station was closed for three months for maintenance. The station is due to re-open next week. The company says the workers failed to fulfil their duties.
