Poll: Would you cycle to work if you had the option?

Give it to us straight. Be honest.

NEW STATISTICS FROM the CSO indicate an increase in the number of people cycling to work in the five years from 2011 to 2016.

The largest number of people cycling to work is in Dublin which is probably understandable in terms of population size, proximity to workplaces and presence of (some) cycle lanes.

If your workplace was in what you would consider a location that you could cycle to (and the route was safe), would you cycle there?

Poll Results:

Yes (4622)
No (2332)
Regularly but not every day (2108)
I don't have to travel to work (245)
