The app that only lets you say 'Yo' is hiring - and the job description is suitably minimalist

They’re not a fan of long sentences.

YO, AN APP that’s gone viral for its simplicity, is hiring. And like its minimalist product, there’s nothing to the job descriptions either.

The app, created by Or Arbel, merely lets you send the word “Yo” to your friends by pressing one button – and that’s it.

The app makes the recipient’s phone say ‘Yo’ in a robotic voice when they receive the message.  Arbel’s team boasts that it takes 11 taps to text the word “Yo” on other apps and only two on its app.

The company behind the app has already raised around $1 million in funding – especially impressive given that it only took a reported eight hours to build.
