YourMoney.ie replaced with... wedding website

The Central Bank issued a warning to the debt management company’s customers this week about outstanding bills.

THE WEBSITE of a debt management company operating online in Ireland as YourMoney.ie has been replaced with a couple’s website for their 2009 wedding in San Francisco.

The Central Bank issued a notice to customers of YourMoney.ie yesterday advising them to immediately halt payment to the company. It also warned that the company may not be in a position to pay any outstanding customer bills.
YourMoney.ie is being operated by Dunne and Maxwell Ltd and its website said yesterday that it offered a “complete debt solutions service”. The Central Bank said it inspected the Dunne and Maxwell offices in Dublin and as a result, “had reasons to be concerned about the nature of this firm’s operations and the handling of consumers’ monies.”

TheJournal.ie has been unable to reach the company for comment and the YourMoney.ie contact number would not connect today.

The debt company’s website now appears to be offline and is redirecting to a wedding website outlining a couple’s plans for their November 2009 wedding.

Below is a screengrab of the site taken by TheJournal.ie‘s Michael Freeman yesterday:
