Astronomers dismiss suggestion that sun and moon caused Japan earthquake

Reports that scientists had established a link between the activities of the sun and moon with the today’s Pacific tsunami have been dismissed by Irish astronomers.

THEORIES ABOUT WHAT might have caused the earthquake in Japan, which triggered a Pacific-wide tsunami, have abounded today.

One such theory, reported by Russia Today, claims that a link had been established between the activities of the sun and moon and the earthquake that occurred off the Japanese coast

Conor Farrell, manager of Astronomy Ireland, told TheJournal.ie that there was no truth in such a claim:

“The sun’s magnetic field can create northern lights, also known as aurora, that cause amazing light displays in the sky. These can potentially knock out communication satellites – although that’s not usual. The magnetic field wouldn’t have any effect on the Earth’s tides or trigger an earthquake”, he explained.

Farrell said that, later this month, the moon would display interesting activity and move closer to the Earth than it had come in many years. However, he stressed that while the moon does have an effect on the planet’s tides, this is separate to the seismic event that caused today’s tsunami in the Pacific ocean.

All one needs to do is take a good look at our weather patterns over the earth. I know you won’t believe me when I say that every large pattern in our weather, as shown by satellite images, is a mirror image of the lunar surface. I have been researching this for almost 5 years, and everyday this can be proven. The pattern that is most visible is the lunar south pole pattern, along with the Schrodinger crater.. This is just a tiny part of the information that is suppressed about our moon’s relationship with the earth. As a matter of fact, the moon surface, along with the earth’s weather patterns, can be used to show earth’s history of different configurations. The moon is much more powerful than we are led to believe. It has actually shaped the entire earth, more so than any other force of nature has. All I need is the satellite image of the weather around Japan that day, and I could probably confirm whether or not it had anything to do with the moon that day. I would really like to see that image for myself. I can tell you what your looking for, if you can find this image. Your looking for the perfect circular pattern of Schrodinger crater in the weather. I have seen it in this area many times, it shows at about 900 miles in diameter, you cannot miss it.
