THE ORGANISERS OF a Halloween event in Amsterdam have decided to go all out and recreate the opening scene from Blade where an underground techno rave is showered in blood.
The organisers of the event have remained anonymous but it looks like it is definitely going ahead. It’s Facebook page said it will take place in a “discreet location”.
AD reports those attending the rave will be sprayed with 5,000 litres of blood. One of the organisers told the Dutch publication that they want to use real blood but they are still trying to work out whether that is possible.
A special sprinkler system has already been developed and has been tested.
“It is indeed an absurd idea and freaky, but that is the nature of this party. You see more and more events around Halloween but which are more focused on pumpkins. A sort of children’s parties. It may of us somewhat rawer and more exciting,” they said.
Demand for the event so far is reported to be high, with organisers expecting some 1,500 ravers on Halloween night.

To be fair, blade isn’t overrated. It gets lots of praise, is a well known movie and though it’s good I actually think it’s slightly overrated

Thumping music ‘operation blade’ – sinister vibe .
Best movie of the trilogy – the rest of the film didn’t match its opening piece but still a decent 100 minutes to spend.
I’ve been to a good few raves in Holland in my twenties and absolutely brilliant time I have to say. huge events and totally trippy all nighters.

Who went on to co-write the The Dark Knight trilogy.
He’s written some great stuff but some awful tripe as well. His last few movies have been great though.
