Côte d'Ivoire: 60 children killed in stampedes during New Year fireworks
The children, aged between 8 and 15, were killed in a stampede at a stadium during a firework display.
AT LEAST 60 children are reported to have been killed, and up to 200 more injured, after stampedes in the Côte d’Ivoire during celebrations to mark the New Year.
The country’s official news agency AIP said the casualties were aged between 8 and 15, according to CNN.

It said the stampede had occurred at about 1am, near a stadium in the Plateau area of Abidjan, and said the children were mostly locals.
AIP’s reports said fire service rescuers had arrived at the scene two hours later, but could not save the victims, AIP said.
Abidjan is the country’s largest city and its former capital, with a population of over 5 million.

Journal prints a whole story on a German politician supporting paedophillia… I point out similarities with an Irish politician and my comments are removed? How does that work??
It wasn’t the only country where this occured. Paedophiles seem to have a huge amount of influemce in the British parties and campaigned to get similar laws implemented there in the early 80s. One former Minister has been openly mentioned for his visits to Elm House for a number of years without ever engaging in legal action. Labour MP Tom Watson has tried to raise the issue but received threats. Just the other night CH4 ran a documentary on former Liberal MP Cyril Smith. http://hat4uk.wordpress.com/the-paedofile/
It was legal in Holland. Company in existence called seventeen they mske porn its all 18 plus but back in 80 it was girls from 16. Colour climax too if you google review they started out filming child porn wbile it was legal and still now one of the biggest adult movie producers in Europe.
Maybe. My parish is closed and the church was sold off for rich people’s condominiums. My parents were married in that Church and my mother, my sisters & I all baptized there. I didn’t enter my kids in that club…..for me – who can trust them you would have to be mad. Once the questioning starts I think it becomes absurd. But you are the sum of your whole life experiences.
I saw a priest walking down the street towards me and I thought, ” No more you piece of sh&*” He caught my eye , read my mind and stepped right into my path. This a priest I never set eyes on before . I heard that scared little altar boy croak out, ” uuuuuh goodmorning fadda.” And I am 60 in 2 weeks. But I think the whole conspiracy is played. I teach my own reason and science, no magic or peasant superstitions…..those black devil’s days are over, no?
Why are people so shocked. Isn’t there a German MEP who admitted ‘playing with kids’ while he was a kindergarten teacher, and not that long ago six young children fainted in a sex-ed class in a school in Germany. Apparently it was like national school. It’s all there but not it’s more like grooming through sex ed. And the UK is worse.
Those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones,
Funny you’re trying to make out other country’s to be so awful, Ireland has a far far darker history when it comes to abuse,
The fact that many Catholics in this country see no issue with Sean Brady still holding his position of power even though he was part of a cover up says it all,
This is the same man that held a protest about the abortion legislation by walking around the knock shrine, but he wouldn’t walk 100metres to the local gardai station to report the sexual abuse he knew about and helped cover up.
Thérèse, there’s a very big difference between being groomed by a paedophile and being given proper sex education in school. In fact lack of sex education gives paedophiles a perfect opportunity to take advantage of children who aren’t taught about the dangers.
Mary, six young children fainted in sex ed classes in Germany. It begs the question as to what was going on…. we cannot ignore it. There’s normal sex ed for the appropriate age, and there’s porn and grooming going on too.
It happened to a load of Japanese kids watching a certain episode of Pokemon in 1997 too. Should we ban Pokemon?
Germany has a very low teen pregnancy rate – half of that of the UK. German sex education is working, and porn and grooming are absolutely not part of the curriculum.
German Greens…enuff said! Back then they were a movement against just about everything and pro the most oultlandish crackpot schemes. They still have a bunch of hard anarcho eco crusties, that like the Irish free state having to deal with the republicans in the four courts.the Greens had to order the water cannons up against their erstwhile colleuges.
A lot of young radical liberals in the 60′s/70′s and 80′s as part of the sexual liberation movement viewed any judgement on sexual activity as oppression by the man!!, it just took them a while to drop the paedophilia brigade from their ranks because the public opinion towards it from civil society was too strong.
Check out the the affliliation between the UKs National Council for Civil Liberties and Paedophile Action for Liberation , and also affliliated with The Paedophile Information Exchange (PIE), from 1978 until 1983.
We can’t blame Germans, this was a really common view in English-speaking countries in the 60s and 70s. There was a book written in 1980 by British/Irish “activist” Tom O’Carroll called “Paedophilia: The Radical Case” which used to be available to read for free on the internet. Not sure if it still is.
If you want to read some disturbing statements from IPCE (formerly International Child and Paedophile Emancipation) about “consensual paedophile relationships with minors” and the ethics of “boylove”, have a look here: http://www.ipce.info/ipceweb/statements.htm Totally SFW, by the way. Just uncomfortable to read, for me anyway.
PfA, this is the fist time I’ve ever agreed with (part of) one of your posts. I think I may need to take a lie down now.
