CULTURE NIGHT 2014 hits towns and cities across Ireland next week on Friday, 19 September.
It’s going to be an incredible evening with hundreds of free events and more than 900 venues opening their doors to the public across the country.
It will span the best of Irish creativity, venues, history, culture and talent with visitor numbers due to hit above last year’s figure of 350,000 participants. Museums, galleries, cathedrals, studios, observatories, libraries, parks, government buildings and theatres in each corner of the country will be opening late to create a celebratory night-time atmosphere.

The Dublin Bus Special Preview Tour - in association with TheJournal.ie - hits the road THIS Thursday night, 11 September, at 7.15pm from a location in the city centre. As well as transporting you and a friend to the three locations, there will be onboard music, storytelling and poetry to entertain you along the way.
We’ll get tours and talks at these spots along the way:
Synonymous with U2, Windmill Lane has echoed to the sound of some of the world’s biggest-selling recording artists from The Rolling Stones to Lady Gaga, and we’ll be getting inside the studio and behind the desk.
This incredible house on Usher’s Island was the setting that inspired James Joyce to write what is arguably his greatest short story, The Dead. We’ll get to sample the Victorian atmosphere that led to the creation of that masterpiece.

This very special whistlestop tour gives a taste of what will be available on Culture Night next week, when Dublin Bus runs free buses taking in four specially-designed Culture Night routes to get people across the city enabling them to take in as many venues as they can on the night.

That gives some great space in front of it between door and bed side. The bed base has 2 storage boxes which are a good investment on top of a regular bed base which just takes up room.
