Is this Ireland's most famous Wren Boy? (...and do you recognise him?)

It’s all getting a little bit ‘Wicker Man’ in Dingle.

WREN DAY CELEBRATIONS are in full swing in towns and villages around the country (in the areas that mark it anyway, it’s hardly a widespread thing).

By the looks of it, people haven’t been letting the brutal weather dampen their spirits.

It all got a little bit Wicker Man-esque in Dingle earlier this afternoon, as the straw-boys took to the streets…

While, elsewhere in the Co Kerry town, these participants took a less-than-traditional approach to the day’s events…

Amongst the crowds, a certain well-known Irish face (and voice)…

And if you don’t quite recognise him, here’s the Southern Editor of RTÉ News with a little more detail…

(It’s Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh, sports fans).

Over in Dublin, the traditional Wren Day event in Sandymount was a bit of a washout.

But it looks like the tradition is still being kept alive, indoors…

Michael: if it was encrypted they probably wouldn’t be reporting this… You cannot access encrypted laptop – virtually impossible to get anything out of it.

You can bypass the password with a bootable CD or USB drive Bill. You can even change the Windows password once booted to one of these media.

Given the number of incidents like this in the past, how is sensitive information not stored and encrypted on a central server – with the laptop only being used to access the information without saving it on the laptop. The mind bogglesz

Place of work NOT stationary agreed, but in a world of thin clients and superfast connection speeds data like this should NOT have been on the hard drive of a laptop encrypted or not.
