It’s just ridiculous/cynical at this stage. Every time there’s a pay out to Anglo bond holders they arrest someone high profile. Fill the newspapers with this rubbish for two days then let them go and no one will notice we just paid out billions on unsecured bonds
If he is ever charged with the alleged offence what bets that his wigs will be off to a higher court to plead that it will be impossible for him to get a free trial and be judged by his peers due to adverse publicity……
The local gougers don’t attract that amount of press attention.
You’ll notice they’ve also erected barriers to presumably stop photographers from stomping all over the front of the station.
it’s not unusual for the gards to escort someone for their own safety.
do you think all those burly detectives escorting Larry murphy from prison were doing that as a favour ?
The DPP must be collecting files, in years to come one of his/her grandchildren will turn up on flog it with all the files. I wonder what the value for them will be?
Don’t worry folks, there is a special spending time with the Garda bonus he now qualifies for!
Although I hope he remembered to ask them for a receipt when he was leaving the station.
The little toerag did not look to happy at all aftre his night in the cells, hopefully there will be many more to come for this little maggot, despite this coverage of the phone invoice fraud the issue is he still lied and cheated the taxpayer out of his residence funds and should be held accountable for all his thieving ways, scum like Callely are like a cancer in irish society and should be treated with the level of disrespect that they deserve,
Ivor is a scumbag……..now can we please put this to bed and move on from F.G grandstanding and go back to trying to stop F.G from making a bigger mess than they already are.
I reckon Ivor has been elected official scapegoat – he’s the “lamb” to the slaughter and will be prosecuted and sent down!!! They’ll use him as an excuse that “oh we did indeed prosecute – didn’t Callely go to prison for X time”…… and that’ll get wheeled out every time anyone asks about any of the bigger boys who are still living in the laps of luxury – we (rightly) complain when gov advisers are paid over the proposed salary limits but developers get 200k annually – which is away over those limits!!
All of them need to be called to account (in the courts; not in some ultra-expensive useless tribunal)
Same as – what the hell is that Garda (E110) doing escorting that dirtbag to his car .
He ain’t a minister anymore – no chance of you getting your transfer any easier ! ! !
Multiply by your favourite factor to calculate the number of expensive restaurant vouchers for the choreographing boys in blue. Sorry it was a complete co-incidence that all those photographers happened to assemble at the right place and time and NO NO NO the boys in blue do not accept expensive restaurant vouchers………
