Will you watch the BAFTAs this evening?

The Baftas will be broadcast on BBC One at 7pm tonight.

IN LONDON, THE BAFTA Awards are currently ongoing. 

Kneecap director Rich Peppiatt has won the award for ‘outstanding debut by a British writer, director or producer’ at the Baftas. In total, the film is up for six awards this evening. 

Numerous other Irish-related projects and people are also in the running – Irish producers of The Apprentice Ruth Treacy and Julianne Forde told The Journal about receiving a cease and desist letter from Trump after the film premiered.

The Baftas will be broadcast on BBC One at 7pm tonight.
