Poll: Do you believe the Murdochs' claims of ignorance?

Rupert and James Murdoch said they knew little of what went on at the News of the World. Do you believe them?

JAMES AND RUPERT MURDOCH yesterday told a House of Commons committee that they knew virtually nothing about the phone-hacking going on at one of their major newspapers, the News of the World.

The pair told the committee that they kept an arm’s-length relationship with the newspaper and that they were not aware of the newspaper’s internal workings – including its employment of private investigators with criminal records, or the paper’s systematic phone-hacking practices.

The Murdochs said that in a major international media empire, it was impossible to pay close attention to every aspect of every newspaper – and that they only became aware of the hacking of Milly Dowler’s voicemail when it was reported in the papers.

Put simply, today we simply ask: do you believe them when they say they knew so little of the phone-hacking at the News of the World?

Poll Results:

No (768)
Yes (144)
I'm not sure (85)

I buy from only a select few bands that I like and know need the money. If artists don’t like spotify they shouldn’t allow their music on it.

I only buy music from obscure bands that none of you would know. Mainstream bands aren’t my thing

It’s gruesome but one sure fire way is to drive off a bridge in Sweden. I’d never heard of Viola Beach till last Sunday. Their music was pretty good. Poor lads.
