Via 57 West  is a luxury apartment building in Manhattan with more than one twist to its design features.

Not only is it a pyramid shaped building right on the water, it recycles 227,000 litres of water a day, was built with responsibly-forested wood and is energy-efficient. If that wasn’t enough it has 142 affordable housing units, costing between $565-$1067 (€520-€980) per month rather than the average $2770-$16,500 (€2540-€15,100) per month.
