Average house prices over €200,000 for the first time since the crash

The Real Estate Alliance (REA) has released a report showing that national house prices are up to pre-crash levels. In Dublin, an agent has reported the average price for a three-bedroom semi-detached home has increased to €480,000.

Navan Town Centre is for sale for €62 million

Duignan and McCarthy have put Navan Town Centre and Fairgreen Shopping Centre in Mullingar on the market for €62 million and €11.5 million, respectively.

  • IBEC and the Dublin Chamber of Commerce have called for a scrap on the building height restriction currently in action in Dublin as it limits Dublin’s ability to respond to the housing crisis properly.
  • Virgin Media Owner, John Malone, has bought three Dublin hotels with Irish hotel group Lalco. The three were on the market earlier this year for a combined €180 million.
  • The Building Information Index has shown a 15% decrease in residential applications for planning permission, according to a report in the Irish Times.
