IT’S THE TALL Ships in Dublin’s Docklands but as you’ve never seen them before.
That’s unless you’ve been in an Air Corps helicopter just like Armn Pat O’Reilly who took these shots from the helicopter yesterday and posted them to the Defence Forces Flickr page.
The photographs were taken as the Mexican Ship, Cuauhtemoc, joined the other competitors for the 2012 Tall Ships Races.
Over 40 vessels arrived in the Docklands yesterday including the German vessel the Alexander von Humboldt as festivities got underway in Dublin
Events including live music, a family zone, magic acts and an urban zone with the Kings of Concrete will continue all the way until Sunday.
