Passenger flight makes emergency landing after 'engine shuts down'

A PLANE HAS made an emergency landing at an airport in St Petersberg, Russia.

The UTair flight, a Boeing 737 with flight number UT369, was travelling from Moscow to the city when it encountered engine trouble.

One of its engines had reportedly shut down.

Reuters reports that the plane was carrying 78 passengers.

The plane made a safe emergency landing at one the city’s airports.
